Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoy the artwork I have created for you today!  I know you will definitely find inspiration from all of the beautiful artwork you will see featured here today!  We will be featuring October's SOTM, which is Home for the Holidays, a set of 7 stamps.  Here is a look at all of the adorable stamps that are included in this great set!

We have over 70 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs.  So grab a cup of your favorite beverage, sit back, enjoy and be inspired!  It is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!  Now here we go!

I will admit for my first project using the Home for the Holidays Stamp Set I kind of copied what is shown in the Annual Inspirations Idea Book on page 14.  I really liked the look but had to change it up to make it mine.  I used the Cranberry Striped Twill Ribbon with the Topiary Mini Chevron Ribbon on top.

Next I pulled out one of our My Creations Pillow Boxes and added a little Yuletide Carol papers with the cute polar bear stamp.

Artfully Sent - Halloween Pop-Up Card

Here is another fun Artfully Sent card for you today!  This one is a Halloween Pop-Up card so all of the fun is on the inside of the card, but I couldn't leave the front of the card blank!  So I grabbed my Halloween Greetings stamp set to stamp the cute witch & "Frightfully cute" sentiment.  I stamped these in Black pigment ink and then sprinkled them with clear embossing powder & heat set it to give it a shimmery look, kind of frightful ;o)

Now for the fun Pop-Up inside of the card.  The Artfully Sent cartridge does all of the work by cutting and putting tick score marks for the folding.  I did also cut out the spider and spiderweb using Black Glitter Paper.  I also stamped the jack-o-lantern using Autumn Terracotta pigment ink for a darker tone on tone type design.  I sprinkled the jack-o-lantern with clear embossing powder and heat set it to give it a shimmer finish.

Artfully Sent - Trick or Treat card

I just made this card with my new toy (aka Artfully Sent cartridge)!  How fun is this adorable "Trick or Treat" Sentiment card.

Here is a picture of my handbook showing that the card is supposed to be created at 7" which means a 5"x7" card.

This picture shows my Cricut machine right before I cut this card.  I did not want a larger 5"x7" card so I set my dial on 5 1/2" and pressed the Real Dial Size button to make the card smaller.

You can cut a piece for inside of the card.  It is located as the Shift part of the Sentiment card key.  Since I already had my card base as Sunset orange, I did not want to cut & use the inside piece for the card, so I just stamped the inside using the Frightfully Fun stamp set because it is such a cute stamp set!  And don't you just love how although this is a sentiment card and the cartridge cuts out the sentiment on the front I am able to back that with Black cardstock and wrap the card with the Thistle ribbon, but I can still place the White Daisy cardstock on the inside and you don't see the Black cardstock!

Artfully Sent is in MY house!!

My Artfully Sent Collection arrived Tuesday afternoon while I was volunteering at my son's school, so I didn't get to officially play with it until yesterday.  I have to admit with Halloween just around the corner, my first choice for a card was a Halloween one.  And I had already seen a super cute card made by fellow Consultant Brenda Rose and had something similar in mind that I wanted to do.  So here is the card I made.

Here is a picture of my collection.  The cartridge with the handbook laying out, the three exclusive stamp sets you receive in the collection and a package of White Daisy cardstock to get you started cutting beautiful cards!

You can see more info and pictures of the Sample Index for this cartridge HERE.
