Balloon Talk - Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  I am very excited to be participating in this Blog Hop!  I have admired the artwork of my fellow Consultants for many months with this Blog Hop and now I get to join in with them!  I hope you enjoy the artwork I created.  I know you will be inspired by all of the beautiful artwork you will see featured here today!  We will be featuring April's SOTM, which is Balloon Talk, a set of 24 stamps.  Here is a look at all of the fun stamps that are included in this great set!

If you have come here from Kathy Burrow's Blog, Snips, Snaps, and Scraps you are on the right path!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

This month we have over 50 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs.  This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!  Here we go!

I had fun creating these cards using this fun set of stamps!  I decided to create using all different paper packets as well.  All of these card designs can be found in the Make it From Your Heart, How-To Books.

This "awesomeness" card was made using Timberline papers.  I stamped the balloon talk awesomeness stamp and then trimmed it, trying to make more of a masculine card.  This is based on Pattern 21 in MIFYH, Volume 2.

For this "hello {it's me}" card I used Lollydoodle papers, based on Pattern 28 in MIFYH, Volume 2.

Next for the "Welcome" card, I used Ivy Lane papers, Damask Embossing Folder.  Based on Pattern 28 in MIFYH, Volume 2.

And finally for my "Love you" card, I used Skylark papers, Teal Shimmer Trim & Aqua Dots,  based on Pattern 28 in MIFYH, Volume 1.

Now "Hop" on over to Michele Rowley's Blog, Evergreen Memories to see her work!  Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!  Make sure to leave them some love also with your kinds words!

Remember, the
SOTM is only available until April 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

Until my next post, happy crafting!

Everything's ABC Blog Hop - F

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "F".  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their "F" element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy

If you came from Cary Magnani's Blog - My Heart's Design then you're on the right track!

When I think of the letter "F", I immediately think of Family.  So my thought process started out as a Family Frame.  Then as I got to creating my Frame, it became more of, this will represent Family Fun in a Frame after I add my pictures.  I will be adding some pictures of our family camping last summer after I print them in the right sizes to fit my new home decor Pennant Frame.  I decorated the frame using Timberline papers.  I covered the frame with the paper and then sanded around the edges to give it a distressed look.  I then changed my mind and went back and used the Chocolate distressing ink pad to distress the edges that way.  I decorated the frame in less than an hour, and am very pleased with how it turned out and I hope you like it also!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Jenny Gilbert's Blog.

In case you get lost along the way…go to Scrappy Therapy for a complete list of participants!

I hope you find lots of inspiration from my fellow Consultants, which I'm sure you will!

Balloon Ride Layout for Emboss It Blog Hop

You know the saying things never go as planned?  Well that happened to me, I had "planned" on participating in a Consultant Blog Hop called Emboss It!, but life happened and things didn't go as planned.  The layout I am featuring in this post was made using Balloon Ride papers.  I embossed the Sorbet cardstock strip using the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.  I love that the new Close to my Heart Embossing Folders have the opening at the top so you can emboss a 12" strip of paper!  I then sanded it lightly to make the Quatrefoil design pop on the page.

Products used all Close to my Heart

Although I didn't get my layout into the "Emboss It!" blog hop like I intended to do, I do want to still share the other participants with you.  You can find the list HERE.

CTMH Page Protectors, Picture My Life & Albums

I tackled my first attempt at making a video to share some products with you.  It is not the best or highest video quality.  I just used my webcam to try my hand at it, so don't laugh too hard okay ;o)

I had received some questions regarding our new Strap Style Side Loading Page Protectors that Close to my Heart made to help out past Creative Memories customers that were left without page protectors for their albums.  I love this company so much!

In this video I started out planning on showing you the Strap Side Loading Page Protector, but because the sample package of Page Protectors I could purchase as a supply item included all of our page protectors, I decided to highlight those as well, along with the Picture My Life Scrapbook Program & our current My Legacy Faux Leather Albums.  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything I feature, I would love to answer those questions for you!

Here are the pictures I promised on the video that I would also share with you on these products.  I will apologize now for some of the glare from overhead lights in some of the pictures.

This is the stock photo as featured on my website of the Strap Side Loading Page Protectors made to fit old Creative Memories Albums.

Here is a close up picture of the Strap Side Loading Page Protector.

And this final picture of the Strap Side Load Page Protector shows the measurement at the gutter seam being 12 1/4".

Now for some pictures of the Skylark Picture My Life Scrapbooking Program.

The next 4 pictures show the 44 - 4"x6" Cards that you receive in the Skylark Picture My Life Kit.

The next 4 pictures show the 78 - 3"x4" Cards you receive.  There are 3 of each design, so the 3rd card which is the same, is grouped to the bottom or side in the picture.

And next I will show you the Later Sk8r Picture My Life Scrapbooking Program.  As I receive more of these kits I will share them in later blog posts with you.

These two pictures show the front and back of the Designed Cover Layout.

Friday's Open House

I held my Spring/Summer Idea Book Open House on Friday evening and it was such a fun night!!  I had 11 ladies show up to check out the new products, enjoy some yummy treats and participate in my Make & Take!

I participated in a Consultant Display Board Swap as well as a couple of rounds of a team card swap.  Here are pictures of my Display Boards & cards I had out to show.  I can only take credit for the artwork featured on the Balloon Ride board as that was my paper packet from our swap.  I created some of the Jubilee & Timberline cards as well.  I love participating in these swap and receiving tons of beautiful artwork from my fellow Consultants!  I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Isn't this #1 Mom box adorable!

I loved the stitched hearts on this layout!

Life is Sweet & so is this yummy pillow box full of sweet treats!

Check out this stinkin' cute Easter Gift Card holder!

Are you ready for the inside of this card??

I was so delighted to open up this ADORABLE pop up card!!

Such a cute title "Owl Always Love You"

I told my guests that for all orders placed, I would be drawing for a Mystery Hostess.  I am awaiting one last order that one of my guests took home to finalize before I draw my hostess!  I will have my cute little helper draw a Mystery Hostess name when I have that final order!
